Persatuan Chopin Malaysia is dedicated to create an awareness and appreciation of classical music.
 

OBJECTIVES

To promote excellence in classical music appreciation and education.
To support promising and talented young Malaysian musicians in fulfilling their career aspirations.
To provide a platform for intercultural and international exchanges through music-related activities.
To encourage collaborative efforts aimed at developing appreciation of classical as well as other kinds of music in Malaysia.
 

ACTIVITIES

Concerts and public performance opportunities for young pianists and musicians in Malaysia and abroad.
National and international piano and music competitions.
Exchange programmes with local and international music academies, institutions and societies for young and talented pianists and musicians.
Master classes, seminars, lectures, workshops and music camps conducted by local and international music mentors for music students, teachers and other interest groups.
Scholarship programmes for young and talented pianists and musicians.
Musical tours and excursions.
 

MEMBERSHIP

The Society’s membership is open to music enthusiasts comprising of students, teachers, private individuals, institution and corporation who are dedicated to the pursuit of excellence in music appreciation and education in Malaysia.
 

FUNDS

The Persatuan Chopin Malaysia’s fund is mainly collected through membership fees. The Persatuan Chopin Malaysia is seeking funding in the form of donations and endowments, grants and subsidies from government bodies, private agencies, business corporations and private individuals to support its activities.
